  • What does internal medicine do?

  • I know the term lifestyle-related diseases, but I don't know the details.
It is a disease caused by habits such as smoking, eating, and exercising. Two out of three Japanese people die from the three major lifestyle-related diseases: heart disease, cancer, and stroke. It is important to talk to your doctor about the causes of these diseases, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and dyslipidemia (hypercholesterolemia), depending on your age, environment, and motivation, and to take reasonable steps to improve them.
  • I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, but I don't know what kind of disease it is.
If left untreated, high blood pressure can lead to serious illnesses such as myocardial infarction and stroke. You need to improve it according to your physical condition and environment.
